Don’t Pay £10,000 For Apple’s Magic Mouse

Posted December 6th, 2009 | No Comments

I'm a self confessed Apple fanboy, and the Magic Mouse IS a great mouse. But even I wouldn't claim it to be worth £10k!

That's what you would have to pay for it if you wanted to buy one from Amazon though!

Firefox Of course Amazon are not selling the Magic Mouse for £10,000, it's being offered by a 3rd party seller because… [...continue reading...]

Posted May 24th, 2009 | 3 Comments

There are plenty of iPhone apps out there to open and view Microsoft Office files on your iPhone.

That's all very well, but what if you want to edit or even create them?

I've been looking for an iPhone app to do exactly that for a while, I was actually hoping Microsoft would develop an iPhone version of Microsoft Office themselves. Clearly they… [...continue reading...]

It's quite common knowledge that i'm a MASSIVE Apple fan, I own 4 Macs, one of which is connected to my 42" Plasma TV as a Media Centre, an iPhone, more iPods than I know what to do with, a 1TB Time Capsule and lots of other bits & pieces.

iPhone 3G MMS Photo Messaging App (Finally)

Posted January 10th, 2009 | 6 Comments

The iPhone 3G is a fantastic phone, after trying the Google A1 and the Blackberry Storm i'm still in love with my iPhone. Not only does it look far better than other similar smart phones but it still has by far the best user interface and is a joy to use.

MMS?

One of the few downsides to the iPhone though was the decision to leave out MMS Photo Messaging, as… [...continue reading...]

Things has been my favourite Task Management app for a long time, after previously loving OmniFocus.

When I got my iPhone 3G the very first thing I did was purchase Things App for it. Imagine my disappointment when I learned that it was not yet capable of syncing lists with the desktop version. This effectively rendered it useless as... [...continue reading...]

iPhone 2.0.2 Update – Big Improvements?

Posted August 19th, 2008 | 5 Comments

I was a little cautious when I saw the 2.0.2 update, i've started to think it's not a good idea to be an early adopter of new updates/services anymore. However my curiosity got the better of me so I allowed iTunes to download the 250mb update.

Bug Fixes?

The update adds no new features and all Apple had to say on the matter was that it contained 'bug fixes'... [...continue reading...]

Protect Your Mac For FREE – iAntiVirus Mac OSX

Posted August 12th, 2008 | 1 Comment

VIRUSOne of the reasons I left the world of Microsoft was because of the amount of trojans, viruses and spyware that Windows would pick up. I literally spent hours removing it all, sometimes it was impossible and the only solution was to wipe everything and reinstall Windows. Since getting my first Mac years ago (and several more since) I have never once installed anti… [...continue reading...]
