When the original iPhone came out, Apple had the crazy idea of trying to charge people to make ringtones out of tracks that they already owned!
Not surprisingly this didn’t last very long and Apple dropped the charge. Unfortunately they have never really made it easy to create your own for free though. Or at least they have never made it public. Continue reading
I love my iPhone 3G but it’s not perfect. A few of the problems with the original iPhone remain along with a big new one.
1. MobileMe sucks!
I’ve been a long time .mac subscriber so was naturally excited about the relaunch as MobileMe. Jobs really did a good job of selling it to me at the keynote. It appeared to be everything I needed to… Continue reading

To be fair to Microsoft, the beta of Internet Explorer 8 already… Continue reading
Finally the rumours have turned to reality. At WWDC 2008 Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone 2 or the iPhone 3G as it’s been named.
Apple Fanboy
I’m the first to admit I’m a massive Apple fanboy, I have 3 Macs at the moment including a MacMini Media Center (at the top of my shopping list is a 24: iMac and Time Capsule) and countless iPods Continue reading
I know these lists have been done many times before. In fact, a lot of the apps on this list I picked up from lists just like this one. So they can be useful, even if there is only 1 app on here that you have never tried it’s worth it. Continue reading
