As you know I really love Apple products but one of the areas they can be improved are the headphones they provide.

The white headphones included with iPods & iPhones are pretty average, not bad but not at all special. You can spend a LOT of money on amazing quality headphones (see further down this list) however these Sennheiser headphones offer stunning sound for a bargain price.

The sound is very sharp with fantastic bass response, far superior to the included iPhone/iPod headphones. They come with a great little carry case too, definitely a must have for any iPhone user who cares about what they listen too!

Altec Lansing T612

There are plenty of options around when it comes to speaker/docks for iPhone 3Gs, I chose the Altec Lansing T612 partly because I have just finished developing their website but mainly because they look and sound fantastic!

As I was developing the website and testing the product I seriously expected the T612 to cost £250+, I was shocked to find out that in fact they only cost around half that!

The iPhone is such a sexy looking device and although they seem to be made of bullet proof glass we can’t be too careful when it comes to handling them.

Nike + iPod Sport Kit (iPod Nano & iPod Touch)

This is actually not an iPhone accessories, it’s only for iPod Nano and iPod Touch but I love it so much I had to include it anyway.

This kit includes a tracking chip which is places in a pair of trainers and another chip which connects to your iPod. Then as you run your iPod records and stores various data about your workouts which is then synced to the Nike+ website via iTunes.

Very clever technology and just the sort of motivation you need to get you exercising!

Proporta Alu-Leather Case

There are plenty of iPhone cases around but most are a bit tacky or just plain crap.

This one is great, it looks very smart and professional but is also excellent quality. It uses a sheet of rigid, lightweight aircraft grade aluminium to line the case, protecting your iPhones screen from crushing and impact shocks.

A nice touch is that there are cut aways to give access to ports and controls so that you can use your iPhone whilst it’s in the case. There is also a removable belt clip.

Klipsch Image – Noise-Isolating In ear headphones

I have to confess that I don’t actually own a pair of these headphones (yet) but I have tested them.

I’m not sure that I can justify the cost but if you can and you’re serious about sound quality of music these are by far the best in ear headphones you are ever likely to find. The sound is phenomenal. They are apparently the smallest, lightest full-range in-ear headphone design too.

The soft gel tips fit into the ear perfectly, I didn’t get to wear them for any length of time but they were so comfy I can only imagine that your ears will never get tired of them. The design is also perfect for canceling outside noise
