Those of you who have been around the internet for a long time will no doubt have heard of Napster. It was the first P2P MP3 file sharing app that hit the mainstream, almost 10 years ago - between 1999 and 2001.

It was the first but it has remained the best - there was literally not a track I couldn’t find on Napster. Since it was shut down many replacements have come and gone but none have quite lived up to Napster.

Well now Napster is back and they’ve gone legit. They’re competing with the like of Apple and Amazon for a piece of the legal digital downloads market.
