Christian Bale Will Save Terminator Salvation

Posted July 19th, 2008 | 5 Comments

Christian Bale In Terminator SalvationTerminator is one of my all time favourite movies. I seem to be one of the few people in the world that actually prefer it to the sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day. That’s not to say I don’t love T2 as well, I do, just not as much as the first.

End Of The Franchise

Unfortunately, the Terminator franchise ended for me after seeing Terminator 3: Rise or the Machines. OK, it wasn’t the worst film in the world, just distinctly average and definitely not worthy of following the first two classics.

I had very little interest in hearing there was to be a 4th film released in 2009. [...continue reading...]

Create FREE Custom iPhone Ringtones

Posted July 18th, 2008 | 57 Comments

iPhone RingtonesWhen the original iPhone came out, Apple had the crazy idea of trying to charge people to make ringtones out of tracks that they already owned!

Not surprisingly this didn’t last very long and Apple dropped the charge. Unfortunately they have never really made it easy to create your own for free though. Or at least they have never made it public.

iPhoneAs regular readers will know i’m a fully confessed Apple fanboy. But I am going to be objective about the iPhone 3G.

As great as the iPhone is there are still a couple of downsides and areas for improvement which I will post about tomorrow.

Setup

The setup was as easy as ever with Apple stuff, turn on, connect, enter Apple ID in iTunes, done.

FREE iPhone 3G!

Posted July 3rd, 2008 | 1 Comment

Sorry for the slightly sensationalist headline! But iPhone 3G day is only 1 week away and I’m over excited!iPhone

It is also true, well in UK at least. But I know a high proportion of readers to this blog are not in UK, so apologies if the same does not apply to you.

Old Contracts

One of the main reasons I didn’t purchase an original iPhone last year (apart from the lack of 3G) was the poor contracts.
