I am also glad that I have waited for the 3G version of the phone and can't wait to rush to my local store to get one. I'm currently seeing out a contract and then i will be purchasing the iphone 3G. I rather geekly watched the apple.com keynote speech (on their site) and some of the new features and the fact that people can now write there own apps for it makes it a must.
